This will be the opening scene for the RP therefore, the rules are in affect. This will be a paragraph-styled RP and you must use ",!?;:' and all the other punctuation involved with story writing. And just a reminder, for the first bit of this RP till the plot described in the first journal is compete, only ~Jewel-Shapeshifter and ~BlazingStarO shall comment here. Others who were invited may comment in parentheses but not RP till the okay is given. ANY QUESTIONS!? GO TO MAH PAGE PEEPS!!! and without further ado....here's opening scene...]


  The sound of crickets chirping and owls hooting, filled the nighttime forest. Down below the canopy of trees, a couple walked closely and silently under the night stars. The female, a orchid and bright orange hedgehog-like creature looked around a bit spooked. "It's getting a bit late, Knight, don't you think so?"
  The male, Knight, a navy blue hedgehog with gold streaks in his fur, shrugged. "If you wanna head back..."
  "YES!" She blurted out. "Never been this far in these parts of the woods before...it's creeping me out."
  "Jewel, you're afraid? Relax, Nothing's gonna happen to you. I won't let anything happen to you...I'd rather it happen to me first."
  Jewel reached up and kissed him. "I know, I'd rather not let anything happen to either of us..." She laughed nervously. Knight nodded in agreement and the two turned around and began to walk back home.
  Roughly fifteen minutes after they began the trek home, Jewel felt movement behind her and whipped her head around quickly, giving a small gasp and her eyes were wide. Knight stopped alarmed. "What?" he asked quickly.
  Jewel shook her head as they continued to walk. 'Feels like I'm being watched...' she thought to herself, looking around cautiously.  A few minutes later, there was a crunching of leaves and Knight stopped this time, defensively scooting his mate behind him. He looked off at some bushes, nothing but silence and still wind. His pointed ears angled in all directions as he listened and scanned the area thoroughly. His battered right ear quickly flicked towards his right (no duh) and his ruby eyes shifted quickly the same direction, as he detected movement. Feet were heard thudding and leaves rustled as something dove into a bush.
  "What the-" Knight began to mutter, but a black blurr shot at him, throwing him past Jewel and landing him on the ground.
  "Knight?" Jewel asked very bewildered, then as she turned around, a big shadowy beast with gleaming eyes, walking on all four limbs, glowered and snarled in her face. It advanced on her slowly and she backed up just as slow. She was soon leaning up against a tree. "Uhh..Knight?"
 "I'm a bit busy right now Jewel!" He called, wrestling with the shadowy creature that wouldn't let him up.
 "Okay then..." She gave a forceful kick upwards and the creature whined and drew back. But as if the whine were a signal, more of the beast came out and attacked the two. Jewel tried to fend them off with her telekinesis but she felt heavy resistance and a dark energy preventing her from using her powers. "Uh-oh, Knight I can't-" She was cut off by her own shriek when sharp claws ripped through her shirt, near her abdomen, narrowly missing her skin. They multiplied and suddenly there was more and more of them. Knight was pinned down as more attacked him, seeing him as more of a threat. The  beast Jewel was locked in combat with suddenly grew tired of her "Child's play" and swatted her away. She landed with sort of a squeak as she hit the dusty forest clearing. She was suddenly fearful, for she scented the salty tang of blood.
  Anger pulsed through her and she got up and dashed towards the mound of shadowy beast attacking her mate. She clawed at them, seeming not to do much. She pushed through some of the figures and just faintly saw his ruby eyes in the dark. "Get off of him!!" she snarled, bitting the "flank'" of one of the beast with razor sharp fangs. It roared out in pain and turned on her, eyes gleaming and the being growling viciously.
  "Jeweliana, RUN!!" Knight shouted in a demanding voice over all the snarling.
  Reluctant to leave Knight, she tried to fend off the beast by fireing shots of ESP at the shadowy creature's face, but it seemed pointless. "Knight, I'm-"
 "GO!!" He snapped, right before his claws were heard ripping through the muzzle of a beast. Jewel began to run off. The beast was hot on her trail. It snapped at her and she glowed a bright lavender and shapeshifter into a cheetah, flying through the forest on all four limbs.
  "HELP!!!!!" She cried out, bucking the beast in the face every few feet.
